I was hoping that the package manager works more like windows updates and new packages are pushed straight away. You are right that some of the points are just differences like apache management cannot be called a con :) I don't expect everything to be the same but I would love to have best things from both platforms in one place ;) Yes you are correct about the release date of 9.04.
